In Catia V5 you can find the menu item “Macro”, with its sub-commands “Macros”, “Start Recording”, “Stop Recording” and “Visual Basic Editor”, in the top menu under the menu item “Tools”.

Catia V6 3DEXPERIENCE

In Catia V6 3DEXPERIENCE you can find the menu item “Macro”, with its sub-commands “Macros”, “Start Recording”, “Stop Recording”, “Visual Basic Editor” and “Visual Studio Tools for Applications”, in the lower menu ribbon under the menu item “Tools”. In the standard setting, the menu item “Macro” must be opened. For this you have to click the arrow next to the “Material Browser” menu item.

Native files can be found with Catia V6 3DEXPERIENCE via the search field and the corresponding file(s) can then be opened. The file can be searched by name or other properties. Additional search options can be called up by clicking in the search field.
